Miodrag Sasa Perin Director - beRecruiter Services, North America Miodrag Perin's philosophy is based on teamwork, knowledge, best-practice, and efficiency. Miodrag's direct style and project management approach help focus on the customer, product, and project goals at all times. Miodrag has over 10 years of work history at Bertelsmann, Inc. In 2001, his group began building and branding corporate and divisional recruiting web sites. To deal with the challenges of a decentralized organization, the group decided to pursue a co-branded approach by including images, logos, and content from all of its companies & divisions. This synergistic approach has resulted in the popularity of the site and continues to attract top talent worldwide. Miodrag has also been instrumental in introducing several levels of process automation; including the build of Bertelsmann's state-of-the art Applicant Management System known as the BeCruiter. His group recently re-launched Bertelsmann's International Jobs & Careers web site known as Create Your Own Career (www.createyourowncareer.com). His current responsibilities are to manage the current North American product and service portfolio, grow the external customer base, continue to invest in R&D, blueprint future offerings, and grow strategic partnerships with other quality players in the recruiting and technology marketplace. Christian M. Vasquez Manager, Global Technology Solutions (Technical Specialist) - beRecruiter Services, North America Christian has been with the department for the last 8 years and was very instrumental in helping to create beRecruiter into a world-class web-based Applicant Management tool. His responsibilities range from serving as technical consultant for online HR website projects across Bertelsmann to managing relations between programming teams overseas. Christian came to Bertelsmann as a graduate of Cornell University's School of Mechanical Engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and has internship experience at an e-commerce start-up in the late 1990's. He has also received a Project Management Institute certification.
Freddie Helrich Senior Manager People Services & HR Solutions - beRecruiter Services, North America Freddie is a true international Human Resources veteran, having been with the Bertelsmann organization for more than 10 years in a variety of different roles and initiatives ranging from transactional, operational, developmental and strategic, both at a company specific level for 2 plus years (Random House, Inc.) and corporate HR level (Bertelsmann Inc., Corporate Management Development, Bertelsmann University, and Bertelsmann Talent Services). He has been a member of the beRecruiter Services, North America team since August of 2007 and comes as no stranger to our product as he was an original beta tester for the recruitment system in 2001 before it was even web-based. He has been providing front-line feedback for many years on enhancements and improvements that can be made to our system from the true front-line hr professional perspective. Freddie has been instrumental in keeping us “tuned-in” to our customers needs and addressing their concerns.
Freddie came to us as a graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Studies and a minor in Creative Studies from the State University of New York College at Buffalo. He is a New York native who had some additional work experience working for a start-up (Kozmo.com) and life experiences of traveling and working abroad for over two years.
